Scan Service
Members of the University of Mannheim may use the scan service option in the Primo catalog.
We deliver individual articles from the same professional or academic journal or complete chapters of books for your own academic work timely and directly. In case of books we email up to 10 percent of a book.
We will send the PDF file to your university e-mail address within 72 hours.
E-books and e-journals are exempt from the scan service.
How to place a scan request
You can place a scan request when you are signed in to your library account.
Search for the book or journal in the Primo catalog. On the details page of a book, the link “Digitization” appears in the “Get It” section.
In the case of journal records, please choose the library location and the year or volume first, then click “Digitization”.
