The A3 Library hosts literature on Psychology and the A5 Library hosts literature on Social Psychology which can be used on site. The items in A3 and A5 are freely accessible and organized according to subject areas. Borrowing from this collection is only possible for academic staff of the University of Mannheim.
The Central Lending Library Schloss Westflügel hosts more literature on Psychology which you can borrow with your ecUM or your library card.
The textbook collection in the Central Lending Library Schloss Westflügel hosts multiple copies of the most important textbooks. Students of the University of Mannheim and cooperating institutions are eligible to borrow from the textbook collection.

Journal Rankings
In Psychology, scientific journals are often ranked according to the impact factors of the journals. The impact factor of a journal indicates how often, on average, the journal’s articles are cited in other scientific journals. Relevant rankings for psychology are e. g. the SCImago Journal Ranking or the Google Scholar Ranking.
Impact factors and contextual information can be found in the database Social Sciences Citation Index or directly in the Journal Citation Reports.
