You will find databases related to German Studies and other subject areas in the database information system (DBIS).
The databases on the subject areas General, General and Comparative Linguistics and Literary Studies and Media and Communication Studies might also be helpful.
You will find e-journals for German Studies in the Electronic Journal Library (Elektronische Zeitschriftenbibliothek (EZB)), and the Primo catalog.
The University Library has a large collection of e-books for all subject areas, including German Studies. You can search for e-books in the Primo catalog and access them from the network of the University of Mannheim.

In the A3 Library you will find literature on German Studies which you can use on site. The items are freely accessible and organized according to subject areas. Borrowing from this collection is only possible for academic staff of the University of Mannheim.
The Central Lending Library Schloss Westflügel Library hosts more literature on German Studies which you can borrow with your ecUM or your library card.
The textbook collection in the Central Lending Library Schloss Westflügel hosts multiple copies of the most important textbooks. Students of the University of Mannheim and cooperating institutions are eligible to borrow from the textbook collection.
In the Primo catalog, you can search for the literature available at the University Library.
The Leibniz-Institut für Deutsche Sprache (IDS) hosts an excellent linguistics collection. You can search for literature available in the library of the IDS in the OPAC of the IDS library.
