Data organisation and documentation
In general, it is advisable to organise the data from the beginning in such a way that research results can be reproduced as easily as possible afterwards. This includes in particular the documentation of the data with metadata, for example in the form of a ReadMe file, codebook, etc., as well as the code with comments. Subject-specific standards should always be taken into account here.
It is also advisable to define conventions for the naming and structure of folders and files as well as for versioning and backups.
